We love kids. We love raising them. We love teaching them. We love helping them. We love inspiring them. And what’s more…we believe in our kids! We know they are the future of our world. We have the privilege of guiding them to be the best version of themselves and creating pathways for them to build a better world.
A few years ago, in our pajamas, we had an idea. What if we caught kids early? Before they arrived in our offices? Before parents came to us frustrated with managing emotional and behavioral concerns or unsure about how best to encourage development? What if we provided opportunities to build resiliency and other mindedness in our youngest learners?
We wondered how we could combine our knowledge and experience. Barbara is an early childhood educator, with over 30 years of experience in the field, a master’s degree, and a former owner of an award-winning preschool. Allie is a pediatric neuropsychologist with expertise in child cognitive, behavioral, and psychological development. And we have children of our own. How could we help to make sure we are raising open-minded, critical thinking, kind individuals?
Enter The Terrateer Club. A holistic program for kids ages 4-6, addressing areas of development children need to emerge as leaders. Extra-curricular activities that meet kids exactly where they are in development to build a well-rounded, other-minded, next generation.
